Xavier Adams, formerly known as SPZRKT, is a singer, songwriter, and producer who has produced calm contemporary R&B under the moniker Xavier Omär. His debut solo EP under the alias, The Everlasting Wave, was released in 2016 after a succession of collaborations. If You Feel, his full-length debut was released in 2020. As early as 2013, the San Antonio, Texas native was crediting himself on collaborations as Xavier Omär, citing his religious upbringing and artists such as John Legend and Frank Ocean as influences.
In 2016, the moniker was related with tunes by Asaiah Ziv ("Here"), Swade ("Alumni"), Masego ("Wifeable"), Noname ("All I Need"), Avalon Young ("Dealin'"), and Mick Jenkins ("Dealin'") ("Angles"). In addition, in October, Adams teamed with Sango on an EP, Hours Spent Loving You and released The Everlasting Wave, a meticulously prepared solo set of comparable length.
The EP Pink Lightning was released on Never Sleep Music the next year. Omär's debut album, If You Feel, was released by RCA Records. It was released in October 2020 and featured guests such as Mereba, who joined him on the title track.
