In March 2020, Clippers owner Steve Ballmer negotiated a deal with the Madison Square Garden Company to purchase The Forum, removing any potential opposition to developing a new arena for the team. After the Clippers' lease at the Staples Center expires in 2020, the team announced plans to build a new arena on July 25, 2019. Construction is expected to begin in 2021 and be finished by fall 2024.
With the 2022-23 season, the Clippers altered their black "Statement" uniforms by ditching the "LAC" emblem in favor of the "Los Angeles" script seen on the team's "City" uniforms from the previous two seasons (2019-20 and 2020-21). The 2017–18 and 2021–22 "City" uniform's three sails motif was also incorporated. The Clippers started their D2C streaming service for local and regional games in 2022.
The Los Angeles Clippers went 50-32 in the 2024-25 regular season, finishing 2nd in the Pacific Division and 5th in the Western Conference. They fell to the Denver Nuggets in a tight seven-game Western Conference First-Round series, ending 4-3 on May 3. Offseason moves included signing Mo Bamba and Kris Dunn for frontcourt and backcourt depth. James Harden missed a few games with a back strain but returned for the playoffs. There has been no major trade buzz, but the focus is on retooling around Kawhi Leonard and Harden to push deeper next season.
