Madison Elle Beer (March 5, 1999)is a New York-born American singer and songwriter. Beer became widely known after Justin Bieber shared a link to one of her YouTube cover performances. "Melodies" was her first single, which she released in 2013.
Beer started uploading videos of herself performing cover versions of famous songs to YouTube in early 2012. The EP's third and final single, "Home with You," came out on March 10, 2018. At its peak in August 2018, the song was #21 on the Billboard Mainstream Top 40 list, making her the first female solo artist in the top 40 without a big record company. On August 2, 2018, she debuted at the Lollapalooza event in Chicago.
On June 3, 2021, she released "Reckless" as the first single off her second studio album. The song landed in the top 40 on the Billboard US Mainstream Top 40, receiving praise from critics for its honest and heartfelt lyrics.
On August 26, 2022, Beer dropped "Dangerous," the second single from her second studio album. The album was completed after "Showed Me (How I Fell in Love with You)" was released on October 14, 2022. Beer revealed her autobiography, The Half of It, in February 2023; HarperCollins released it on April 25, 2023.
Bear confirmed the release date of the album's fifth single, "Spinnin," for August 18, 2023. Beer announced the Spinnin Tour, a European and North American tour supporting Silence Between Songs, on October 9, 2023.
