Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28, 1986) is an American actress, singer, and songwriter. She is professionally known by her stage name, Lady Gaga born in New York City. When Gaga was four, her mother encouraged her to learn the piano to become "a cultured young woman." She learned to play the piano in her early years and diligently practiced.
Gaga preferred making music by ear to reading sheet music, which she learned to do during the courses. Her parents put her through Creative Arts Camp so she could pursue her interest in music.
Gaga tried her hand at acting, and her starring parts in the miniseries American Horror Story: Hotel (2015-2016) along with the musical feature A Star Is Born (2018) earned her several accolades. Her work on the latter film's soundtrack, including the breakout hit "Shallow," earned her the first woman to win an Oscar, a BAFTA, a Golden Globe, and a Grammy in the same calendar year.
Gaga’s 2020 electro-pop record Chromatica, the start of her Las Vegas residency Enigma, and her return to acting in House of Gucci are all great examples. After that, she did the highly popular Jazz & Piano residency and worked with Tony Bennett until the end of his performances. Fans saw behind-the-scenes footage of her much-anticipated part as Harley Quinn in Joker: Folie à Deux in 2024.
It is said that Gaga will be back on stage in 2025 with a new tour to accompany her next studio record. The worlds of her movies and music will again meet when Joker: Folie à Deux emerges. You can look forward to new songs, visual shows, and more of the art that doesn't fit into any one genre that defines her legacy. She recently broke the record for largest concert in the world while performing in Rio in front of a crowd of a massive 2.5 million people.
