Armando Christian Perez (January 15, 1981) is an American singer, actor, songwriter, and rapper. He is professionally known by his stage name, Pitbull. He was born in Miami, Florida. He started in the industry in the early 2000s, releasing multiple albums combining reggaeton, Latin hip-hop, and crunk. His first album, M.I.A.M.I., was released in 2004 on T.V.T. Records, with Lil Jon serving as executive producer. El Mariel, Pitbull's second studio album, was released in 2006, and The Boatlift, Pitbull's third studio album, was published in 2007.
The I Feel Good Tour, named after his single of the same name, was announced on June 22, 2021, across all of Pitbull's official social media sites. It was his first solo tour since the North American leg of the Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull Live! tour in 2017. Starting on August 20, 2021 in Clarkston, Michigan, the 32-city tour continued across the United States until October 13, 2021 in Tampa, Florida.
Pitbull, IAMCHINO, and DJ Deorro debuted their late 2021 single "Discoteca" live on February 24, 2022, during the 2022 Premio Lo Nuestro awards. The song incorporates a sample from A.T.C.'s "Around the World (La La La La La)" from their Eurodance album. Can't Stop Us Tour, featuring Iggy Azalea and Sean Paul, was announced by Pitbull on April 11, 2022. Pitbull and Iggy Azalea have been on the road together for two years.
The tour kicked off on July 28, 2022, in Raleigh, North Carolina, and ended on October 19, 2022, in Hollywood, Florida. At the 2023 Latin American Music Awards, Pitbull collaborated with Vikina, Omar Courtz, and Lil Jon to perform a mashup of his songs "Let's Take A Shot," "Me Pone Mal," and "J.U.M.P.I.N."
