Jodeci Information
Jodeci is an American R&B quartet. The current lineup consists of Donald "DeVanté Swing" DeGrate, Dalvin "Mr. Dalvin" DeGrate, Cedric "K-Ci" Hailey, and Joel "JoJo" Hailey. Jodeci was formed in 1989 in Charlotte, North Carolina, but its members' musical careers began as two separate duos of brothers before they eventually came together. In 1991, the band signed with Uptown Records and began working on their debut album, Forever My Lady, which featured the Top 10 hits "Come and Talk to Me" and the album's title tune.
A follow-up song, "Every Moment," dropped on January 28, 2015. The same month also saw the announcement that Jodeci had signed with Epic Records to release a new album through the company. The album was produced by Timbaland, who recently moved his Mosley Music Group to Epic. On March 31, 2015, they dropped their fourth studio album, The Past, the Present, and the Future. It had been 20 years since their last album.
Jodeci announced a reunion tour shortly after the record came out. The debut performance was on June 6, 2015, at the Stone Soul Music Festival in Richmond, Virginia. It was Jodeci's first official concert engagement in the United States since 1995, and they stole the show.
