The North Carolina State University Wolfpack men's basketball team has had quite the turnaround in the last two years. Led by first-year head coach Kevin Keatts, the team has shown a lot of grit as it grows as a team and makes some waves in its systems.

The Wolfpack won the 2023–24 ACC Tournament as the tenth seed, the lowest seed to win the tournament. The victory gave them an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, where they reached the Sweet 16—their deepest trip in decades. D.J. Burns Jr. and DJ Horne were key players in Clemson's success, and Burns Jr. received tournament MVP honors.

Continuing on this momentum, the Wolfpack has continued to thrive in the 2024–25 season. The team has also added new talent by bringing in transfers and first-year students. As of December 4, NC State has a 5–2 record and is hosting the Texas Longhorns for the ACC/SEC Challenge. Although Mike James was out for the short term with knee surgery, the Wolfpack isn't ready to relinquish their foothold among the ACC's elite.
