Fred Again Information
Fred Again (July 19, 1993) is an English DJ, multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, and record producer. When Gibson was 16 years old, his neighbor and London recording studio owner Brian Eno invited him to join an a cappella group. In 2014, he worked with Eno and Karl Hyde as co-producer and songwriter on their albums Someday World and High Life. In the same year, 2014, Gibson also participated in the Red Bull Music Academy's Tokyo, Japan session.
With help from Gibson, George Ezra's "Shotgun" topped the charts in 2018 and stayed there for a whopping 12 weeks. Gibson succeeded in the same year with "Let You Love Me" by Rita Ora and "Solo" by Clean Bandit starring Demi Lovato. Twelve out of Ed Sheeran's fifteen songs on his 2019 No.6 Collaborations Project were written or produced by Gibson, and those songs spent a combined fourteen weeks at the top of the charts.
At the 2020 Brit Awards, Gibson took up the Producer of the Year trophy. He took home the trophy at the early age of any producer before. The Music Producers' Guild chose the winner based on the votes of A&R executives from around the music business. Gibson made his debut at Glastonbury on June 23, 2023.
