Five Finger Death Punch, whose stage names include 5FDP and FFDP, is a heavy metal band hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada, in 2005. Jeremy Spencer on drums, Caleb Andrew Bingham on lead guitar, Ivan Moody on vocals and keyboards, Zoltan Bathory on rhythm guitar, and Matt Snell on bass were the band's initial members. In 2006, guitarist Darrell Roberts took over for Bingham, and in 2009, guitarist Jason Hook joined the band.
Five Finger Death Punch's 2007 first album, The Way of the Fist, was an immediate hit, selling more than half a million copies in the U.S. alone. The band's third studio album, American Capitalist, was released on October 11, 2011, and gained Platinum status. Their 2009 follow-up album, War Is the Answer, sold over 1,000,000 copies and was certified Platinum by the RIAA.
With the release of "IOU" on May 13, 2022, the band brought our second single. Beyond that, they shared the news that their ninth studio album, AfterLife, was out on August 19, 2022. The band released the third single, "Welcome to the Circus," on June 9, 2022. The group dropped the 4-song E.P. "Times Like These" on July 8, 2022. In late 2022, the band embarked on a cross-country tour of the U.S., with country rockers Brantley Gilbert and Cory Marks opening for them. A digital deluxe version of "AfterLife" was published on February 9, 2024, as announced by the band on January 12, 2024.
