Michael Hazen James McIntyre (February 21, 1976) is an English comedian, writer, and television host. He topped all stand-up comedians in terms of earnings in 2012. Michael McIntyre has done stand-up comedy, presented his comedy show on BBC One called Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow, appeared on Live at the Apollo three times, and judged Britain's Got Talent in 2011.
The news of Michael McIntyre's Big Christmas Show, his return to BBC One, was announced in November 2015. Before its Christmas Day telecast, the show was taped live in London's Theatre Royal. Saturday night entertainment series Michael McIntyre's Big Show has been airing on BBC One since April 2016, hosted by McIntyre. In November 2016, a second season premiered, and in November 2017, a third season premiered.
The Wheel, a new game show from the BBC, debuted in November 2020 with McIntyre as host. A US version of The Wheel, hosted by McIntyre and shown on NBC, debuted on December 19, 2022, following its announcement in August 2021. As of 2023, Michael McIntyre will host both Michael McIntyre's Big Show, a Saturday night series, and The Wheel, a game show on BBC One. McIntyre will also host The Wheel. McIntyre's "MAGNIFICENT" tour for 2023 and 2024 was announced in 2023.
