Atlanta Braves Information
The Atlanta Braves is an American professional baseball team. The Braves club has won four World Series titles overall (at least one in each of the three locations they have played in) throughout the 118 World Series that have been played since the series' beginning 120 years ago. The 2023 Atlanta Braves lineup features four different clothing options.
Bally Sports Southeast is the sole provider of broadcasts of Braves games in the region. Bally Sports Southeast's play-by-play announcer is Brandon Gaudin. Jeff Francoeur is primarily Gaudin's coworker in the booth. Approximately 35–40 games will include Tom Glavine on the broadcast. Peter Moylan and Nick Green will serve as in-game analysts in the broadcast booth for some games.
The 2023 regular season will feature John Smoltz in the broadcast booth for two series. All but Murphy of the ten Braves whose numbers have been retired have been chosen to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The Braves stated on April 3, 2023, that on September 9, 2023, they would retire Jones's number 25 in honor of the late center fielder.
2024 will be the 154th season for the Atlanta Braves overall, the 59th for the city of Atlanta, and the 8th for Truist Park. Brian Snitker has been the manager in his seventh year with the Braves. The squad's present record stands at 25-13 (.658).
During a recent May game at Truist Park, Reynaldo López made another scoreless start, while Zack Short made his Braves fan debut with the game-winning double in a 2-0 victory over the Cubs. However, the most noteworthy updates came during the postgame speech by Braves manager Brian Snitker, who updated the crowd on Austin Riley and disclosed that López's removal from the game after five innings was solely due to back tightness.
