Atlanta, Georgia is a crown jewel of the South for big cities. The Mercedes Benz Dome, State Farm Arena, and Truist Park anchor the downtown scene for the biggest events. These three venues host the Falcons, Hawks, and Braves for their professional sporting events as well as big-time concerts. Jay-z, Elton John, Drake, and Kendrick Lamar have all played these huge venues. Paring is a premium just like any big city but in Atlanta, you can also take MARTA to save on the hassle to all of these venues.
Inside the beltway, you can also find multiple smaller venues like the Fabulous Fox Theatre for an off-broadway experience, The Tabernacle and the Coca-Cola Roxy both offer smaller more intimate concerts and events. The Cobb Energy Performing arts center also offers some great performances throughout the year. Inside the beltway, you can also find a fantastic summer concert venue Cadence Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park. Many incredible concerts have happened here and you can enjoy many shows with a lawn seat at Atlanta’s oldest outdoor music venue. The Cellaris Amphitheatre on the south end is also a fan favorite.
Atlanta is a great city to visit with all its shopping, entertainment, and restaurants. You can get in and out of here easily via car or plane. The Atlanta Airport is one of the busiest in the United States as well as the headquarters of Delta Airlines.
