Joseph Michael Poole (August 12, 1976) is an American singer and musician. He is well-known by his stage name, Wednesday 13. Poole is from Lexington, North Carolina. He is also known as Joe Nothing, Audrey 3, and Buck Bourbon. His music is defined as heavy metal, outlaw country, horror punk, glam punk, heavy metal, glam metal, gothic metal, and hardcore punk. Poole began his musical career in 1992.
Currently, he is famous for being the frontman of Murderdolls. Poole also played in many other groups such as Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13, Bourbon Crow, Maniac Spider Trash, and Gunfire 76.
The band Mizery, which later became Psycho Opera, was the first band that marked the beginning of Poole’s career. He left the band to form Maniac Spider Trash as the lead vocalist and fronted it from 1992 to 1996. The group released an EP entitled Dumpster Mummies, in 1994. Murder Happy Fairytales, in 1995, was another album by the band that remained unreleased until October 5, 2010.
Poole shifted to Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13 and released five studio albums and six EPs with various revolving members. The group also got featured on tribute albums for Alice Cooper, and Sweet. Later, in 2002, Poole stopped performing in this name and joined Murderdolls. The band later announced the reunion, which ended up in a tour with Alice Cooper and a box set of complete discography by the group, entitled Little Box of Horrors. The band broke up once again shortly.
As a solo artist, Poole began his first solo tour of the United Kingdom in March 2004, which he called the Graveyard A-Go-Go tour. He began releasing music under the name Wednesday 13. A few of his notable albums are Transylvania 90210: Songs of Death, Dying, and the Dead, Calling All Corpses, Necrophaze, Bloodwork (EP), From Here To The Hearse, and the list goes on.
