Trigger Hippy Information
Trigger Hippy is an American rock band. The group's current lineup consists of Amber Woodhouse, Ed Jurdi, Nick Govrick, and Steve Gorman. In the beginning, Govrik, Gorman, and some other artists from Nashville were hanging out and making music together. On February 2, 2009, Trigger Hippy made its live debut at the Cox Capitol Theatre in Macon, Georgia.
In 2011 and 2012, the band performed with an ever-changing lineup. Consistent members of the band Govrik and Gorman, along with Joan Osborne, Jackie Greene, and Tom Bukovac, have declared their intention to record an album in the fall of 2012.
On Back to Black Friday, November 29, 2013, in celebration of Record Store Day, Trigger Hippy released their debut EP. As of September 30, 2014, a full-length album by Trigger Hippy was available. The band stated they would take a hiatus in the summer of 2015. In a press release dated June 19, 2019, the band revealed their new lineup, which includes Jurdi and Woodhouse, in a four-piece configuration. Full Circle and Then Some is a new album in October of this year.
