The Weeklings is an American tribute band that pays tribute to the legendary Beatles, a group that has a unique celebration of the music and their inspiration. The current lineup of the band consists of Glen Burtnik, Bob Burger, John Merjave, and Joe Bellia. The group usually works with the record label, JEM Recordings. The Weeklings perform Beatles nuggets with their unique and classic style. Currently, the band is based in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Glen Burtnik is one of the critical members of the Weeklings; he is a platinum/gold record awarded songwriter, singer, and multi-instrumentalist. Bob Burger is also a gold record awarded songwriter and singer who has had lifelong Beatles influence. He has performed with Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Southside Johnny, along with many others.
John Merjave is known as a longstanding member of the “BeatleFest” that was a house band. He also performed with some notable artists such as Danny Laine, Billy Preston, and several others. Joe Bellia is Ringo’s drumming style’s master, and he has also performed with numerous major artists.
The Weeklings have been nominated for the best classic band and album in Asbury Music Awards 2015. Currently, Tony Pallagrosi is the general manager of The Weeklings.
