The Pack A.D. Information
The Pack A.D. is a garage rock duo that was founded in Vancouver, British Columbia, in 2006. The band is known for its exciting live performances along with the massive sound-generating ability for having only two members. The music of the pair is defined as garage rock, alternative rock, punk, psych rock, indie rock, and blues-rock. The founding and current members are singer/guitarist Becky Black and drummer Maya Miller.
The Pack A.D. has four studio albums on Mint Records that are Tintype (2007), Funeral Mixtape (2008), We Kill Computers (2010), and Unpersons (2011). After the expiration of their contract with Mint, they signed with Nettwerk in April 2013 and released another album entitled Do Not Engage, on January 28, 2014. Later on, the duo was signed to Cadence Music Group in 2015 and released a new album, Positive Thinking, on August 12, 2016.
Some of the other notable albums by the Pack A.D. are Dollhouse (2017), It Was Fun While It Lasted (2020), and two EPs entitled Some Sssongs (2013) and Meta Animal (2015). The duo appeared on the North American festival circuit, and one of their songs, entitled "Haunt You," was featured in the films Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015) and The Collection (2012). The track "Everyone Looks Like Everyone" was featured in the debut episode of Letterkenny, a popular Crave series, and the song "1880" was featured in the film The Art of the Steal. "Yes, I Know" was another single by the Pack A.D. that got featured on The CW's hit series Riverdale.
