The Music of Cream – Tribute began in 2017 to celebrate Cream's 50th Anniversary in Australia and New Zealand. The tribute show has been played over one hundred times in front of tens of thousands of fans across North America and the U.K. They are expected to hit the road in the current year with a brand-new show and lineup. The Music of Cream – Tribute is a creation by family members Kofi Baker and Will Johns, who united the master musicians to pay tribute to the legendary music of Cream.
Cream is known to be a blueprint for every supergroup to follow along with the heavy blues precursor to Zeppelin, Hendrix, and so much more. It has been fifty years since Cream's earth-shaking debut album. The bloodlines of that hallowed trilogy come together to pay the biggest tribute to the legendary four-album reign by Cream over the psychedelic frontier of the late 1960s.
Malcolm Bruce (son of Jack) along with Kofi Baker (son of Ginger) united with Will Johns, who is the nephew of Eric and son of Zeppelin/ Stones/ Hendrix engineer Andy; to uncover the lightning that electrified a generation. Not only this but also special guest "The Voice of Rock" and Deep Purple legend Glenn Hughes work together in The Music of Cream – Tribute.
