Daniel Tosh Information
Tosh Daniel Dwight (May 29, 1975) is an American stand-up comic, writer, and producer born in the Boppard, Rhineland-Palatinate, West Germany. Tosh earned a marketing degree at UCF. He later moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. In 2001, he appeared on David Letterman's Late Show, which was the turning point of his career.
After appearing on several well-known shows, he got his 30-minute special on Comedy Central Presents two years later. Tosh hosted the Comedy Central program Tosh.0. The show featured viral videos from the internet interspersed with his hilarious commentary from 2009 to 2020. From 2010 through 2015, Daniel Tosh embarked on a string of stand-up comedy tours.
Being a frequent radio guest, Tosh has been on shows including Bob & Tom, Loveline, and Kevin & Bean. Comedy Central presented his 30-minute program in 2003. 'Daniel Tosh: Completely Serious,' his stand-up special, premiered on Comedy Central on June 17, 2007. He also hosted an episode of "Live at Gotham" on Comedy Central.
On an episode of Punk'd on MTV, Tosh played a burglar who breaks into Mekhi Phifer's automobile. He portrayed an alternate version of himself on HBO's" Runaway Boxes" and "Elevator" and had a little part as Cowboy Hat in Mike Myers's The Love Guru.
