ACC Mens Basketball Tournament Information
The Atlantic Coast Conference hosts a basketball tournament, the ACC Men's Basketball Tournament, among other sports competitions. It is also a tournament with a single elimination system that was first held in 1954, and the regular-season results of the teams determine the seeding of the event.
The Duke Blue Devils have won the most titles in the sport's history, with twenty-one.
The Bojangles' Coliseum, Capital One Arena, Spectrum Center, Amalie Arena, and State Farm Arena are just a few of the venues that have previously played home to the Basketball Tournament for the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC).
ESPN and ACCN are television partners participating in the ACC Men's Basketball Tournament. Other teams that have won tournament titles in the past include North Carolina, which has won 18 times, and North Carolina State, which has won 10 times. Wake Forest has won four times, and South Carolina, Miami, Notre Dame, and Florida State have each won just once.
This tournament has been held annually since the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) ended its inaugural basketball season in 1954 (however, the 2020 tournament was only partially completed due to the pandemic).
