The Flatliners Information
The Flatliners is a Canadian punk rock band. The current lineup of the group consists of Paul Ramirez (drums), Jon Darbey (bass), Scott Brigham (guitar), and Chris Cresswell (vocals and guitar). The band has been a driving force in the Toronto punk/ska scene since its inception in 2002, thanks to a string of critically acclaimed recordings and energetic performances. Their first record, 2005's Destroy to Create, was originally released independently before the band signed with Stomp Records and reissued it on July 19, 2005.
The band joined Death by Stereo, Bigwig, and Big D and the Kids Table for the Frostbite Tour in March and April of 2006. In late April of 2006, they appeared at the Ska Weekend event. They toured Canada with Much the Same in October 2006, followed by a quick tour across the United States with Time Again, Against All Authority, and the Know How.
In April of 2007, The Flatliners inked a deal with Fat Wreck Chords, who agreed to sell the band's subsequent album everywhere except Canada (where Stomp Records would take over). After that, they played on the two Canadian stops of the Warped Tour and appeared at the Wakestock event. They issued their second studio album, The Great Awake, on September 4, 2007.
