The Accidentals Information
The Accidentals is an American band. The current lineup consists of Michael Dause (guitar, vocals, drums, and percussion), Katie Larson (kazoo, bass, glockenspiel, piano, ukulele, cello, guitar, accordion, and lead vocals), and Savannah Buist (musical saw, mandolin, piano, bass, acoustic/electric guitar, ukulele, viola, violin, and lead vocals).
Sav Buist and Katie Larson, singers and multi-instrumentalists, created the band in Traverse City, Michigan, in 2012. Indie folk, pop, bluegrass, rock, and classical are just a few of the styles featured by the band. The band released five studio albums, three extended plays, and two live albums.
In 2014, Buist and Larson brought on drummer Michael Dause and embarked on a nationwide tour; both musicians came from musical families. When the band members were in their early 20s, they signed with a major label, but they have since gone back to self-releasing their music. They currently run music seminars in classrooms around the United States from their new home in Nashville, Tennessee.
Tangled Red and Blue, the Accidentals' self-produced first studio album, was released on May 21, 2012. The album, with its 13 tracks of modern folk music, was well-received in its native country upon its release.
