Teaze Information
Teaze is a Canadian hard rock band that formed in 1975 in Windsor, Ontario. The current lineup of the group consists of Brian Danter (bass guitar and vocals), Mark Bradac (guitar), Chuck Price (guitar), and Mike Kozak (drums). The band was discovered by Mel Shaw, who also produced several demos with the band members to help them kick start their careers. The ensemble signed a record deal with Aquarius Records after discovering Donald Tarlton, Terry Flood, and Bob Rags.
Teaze moved to Montreal in 1977, where they began touring all over the United States and Canada. They did not get much visibility during the initial years, but the group received its breakthrough in September 1978 when touring Japan for ten days. They received a favorable reception in Japan that led the band to record a live album called Tour Of Japan.
Teaze released its self-titled debut album in 1977. Myles Goodwin of April Wine has also worked with the band. He helped Teaze in producing another album entitled “One Night Stands.” They received serious recognition from that album, a lot more than their previous albums. The group toured all around the world. The last album recorded by the band was Body Shots, in 1980, produced by Nick Blagona. Teaze has released two compilation albums named A Taste of Teaze (1984) and Best Of Teaze (1990).
