Reaffirming her place as one of punk rock's most dynamic performers, the indomitable Suzi Moon returns with her debut solo EP, Call the Shots. The singer-songwriter continued to write songs demonstrating her tremendous progress, building on a superb rock & roll lineage that dates back to when she was 15 and joined her sister's famous punk band, Civet. Before the age of 21, Moon opened for the Dropkick Murphys and Flogging Molly, establishing herself as a strong punk truth-teller with a unique style and an unruly stage presence. Moon founded Turbulent Hearts when Civet went on hiatus; the band is a high-energy trio that has acquired fans across the United States and Europe thanks to their appearances at high-pressure events like the Rebellion Festival and Punk Rock Bowling.
Following that, Moon, whose imagination knows no bounds, co-founded L.A. Machina, a groundbreaking garage/punk/stoner female power trio. As soon as they signed with Alternative Tentacles, the band released an excellent EP, but they disbanded in a blaze of glory by 2020. Despite this setback, MOON went on to write the groundbreaking songs that would eventually become Call the Shots, and by the end of the year, she was in the studio recording them.
