Storm Large Information
Storm Large (June 25, 1969) was born as Susan Storm Large, an American singer, author, actress, and songwriter. Large was raised in suburban Southborough, Massachusetts. Since she was only five, Large had begun writing and singing songs. In 1987, she graduated from St. Mark’s School, which was considered a prestigious private school by having big names in its alumni, such as Franklin Delano Roosevelt III, Prince Hashim of Jordan, and Ben Bradlee. After completing high school, Large went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
Storm Large spent some time in San Francisco and formed a few bands, including Storm Inc, Her Dirty Mouth, and Flower SF. She has also performed with Michael Cavaseno as a duo. She published a memoir on January 12, 2012, entitled “Crazy Enough,” published by Free Press. It was an expansion on her cabaret show that was produced by Portland Center Stage. Large has also played Sally Bowles in a Portland Center Stage (PCS) for the production of the musical Cabaret. She also premiered her autobiographical, one-woman show, Crazy Enough, in 2008.
Large has released a few amazing studio albums throughout her musical career including Big Daddy Large (1995), Storm and Her Dirty Mouth (1998), The Calm Years (2000), Hanging With The Balls (2003), Vasectomy (2005), Ladylike Side One (2007), Crazy Enough (2009), and Le Bonheur (2014).
