Stop Light Observations is an American band. The current lineup consists of Luke Withers (drums), Louis Duffie (lead guitar), John Keith Culbreth (lead vocals), and William Blackburn (lead vocals). The band is based in Charleston, South Carolina.
The SLO’s fast-growing fan base has resulted in their breaking the record for the most consecutive sellouts at The Music Farm and securing coveted slots at Bonnaroo and Firefly Music Festivals.
Toogoodoo’s sophomore album, Toogoodoo, builds on the band’s critically acclaimed first, Radiation, by mixing the finest arena rock with hypnotically charged undertones of hip-hop and folk. The CD, which was recorded live at Toogoodoo Bluff, a 1700s property in South Carolina’s Low Country, depicts anguish, joy, a wish for happiness, and the fundamental urge for a sense of satisfaction in the face of rising disappointment with the material world.
It’s a spiritual remark. It’s a rallying cry. It results from the collaboration of four outstanding musicians who were moved to honor the contrasting forces of darkness and light.
