Sheer Mag Information
Sheer Mag is an American rock band. The current lineup consists of Hart Seely (bass), Kyle Seely (drums, backing vocals, and lead guitar), Matt Palmer (keyboards and rhythm guitar), and Christina Halladay (vocals). They all relocated to Philadelphia after graduating, where they started the band in 2014. Together, they all moved into a place they called "The Nuthouse," where they cut their first self-titled 7-inch EP later that year. In September 2014, it was made available through their label, Wilsons RC.
When their EP was released in the UK/EU by London punk label Static Shock Records, they embarked on their first full U.S. tour the following spring. This relationship would last for subsequent releases. In April 2015, they jointly released their second EP with the Brooklyn label Katorga Works. They released a third 7-inch vinyl EP in March 2016. Wilsons RC and Static Shock issued a compilation LP featuring all the tracks from their prior releases in the early months of 2017.
The lead single from Sheer Mag's debut full-length album, Need to Feel Your Love, released on July 14, was made available on May 10. They declared their second studio album, A Distant Call, will be released on August 23 of the same year on June 19, 2019.
