Shame is an English post-punk band originally from South London, England. The group's current lineup consists of Charlie Steen, Sean Coyle-Smith, Josh Finerty, Charlie Forbes, and Eddie Green. Shame's debut album Songs of Praise was released via Dead Oceans on January 12, 2018, to tremendous praise. Based on 16 reviews, the record presently has an average score of 83. On the UK Albums Chart, the album reached number 32 and stayed there for two weeks.
NME announced in late January 2020 that Shame was working on their second studio album and that the recording was finished. On November 18, 2020, the band announced that their second studio album, Drunk Tank Pink, would be released on January 15, 2021, just three years after their debut. Shame released the single "Snow Day" and a visualizer from their upcoming album "Drunk Tank Pink" in December 2020.
