Sevendust was formed in the year 1994 in Atlanta, Georgia. It is an American rock band which was created by three members Morgan Rose the drummer, John Connoly, the guitarist, and Vince Hornsby, the bassist. Sevendust released its debut album, which was self-titled in 1997. Their song Black from their debut self titled album was played as the opening song for almost all of Sevendust’s concert till the year 2004. The genre of Sevendust is heavy metal, hard rock, nu-metal, and alternative metal. The American rock band consists of five members Vince Hornby the bassist and backing vocalist, Morgan Rose, the drummer, Clint Lowery, the lead guitarist, and backing vocals, Lajon Witherspoon the lead vocalist, and John Connoly the lead guitarist and backing vocals.
From the year 1997 to 2018, Sevendust has released a total of 12 studio albums. The band Sevendust gained a lot of success with consecutive gold certificate albums by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). The group was also nominated for the Grammy Awards. Sevendust has sold over a million copies of their album all around the world. Their debut album Sevendust sold over 311 copies in the first week of its release. This album of the bands gained a lot of success by earning a gold certificate by Billboards.
