Se So Neon is a South Korean indie rock band. The current group lineup comprises Park Hyun-jin, U-su, and Hwang So-yoon. Summer Plumage (2017) and Nonadaptation (2017) are the band's two EPs published since their 2016 inception. (2020). Hwang So-Yoon and Gangto formed the band in 2016 as a side project, and by 2018 they had received awards for Rookie of the Year and Best RockSe So Neon.
Hwang came up with the name after reading an edition of the now-defunct children's magazine Sae So Nyeon. The name means "new kids" or "new boys" in English. When bassist Fancy Moon joined the band, they were a trio. Their self-titled debut EP (Summer Plumage) was published in October 2017.
Se So Neon revealed in December 2018 that members Gangto and Fancy Moon had departed the group to serve in the military. Hwang then used a self-tape audition to bring in bassist Park Hyun-jin and drummer U-su to take their position. U-su wanted to keep working as a solo drummer, so the band revealed his departure in Korea in August 2022—an award performance song.
