Pinegrove Information
Pinegrove is an American rock band. The current lineup of the permanent group members includes Evan Stephens Hall (vocals and guitar) and Zack Levine (drums and vocals). The group was formed in 2010 in Montclair which is a town in New Jersey. During the early years, Pinegrove performed concerts in basements around Montclair and its surrounding areas. In January 2010, Hall uploaded the band’s debut EP entitled Mixtape One on Bandcamp.
On February 29, 2012, Pinegrove released its full-length debut studio album entitled Meridian. The band took nearly four years to record its second album entitled Cardinal. The album got released on February 12, 2016. The album brought a breakthrough for the band that started to sell out venues around the United States. They went on a supporting tour for “Into It. Over It.” In June and August 2016, Pinegrove embarked on its first headlining tour of the country. Overall, they played more than 200 shows in support of Cardinal.
Pinegrove began to work on its third album, Skylight. The album was recorded at the property midway. They also launched a ten-part documentary series about the making entitled, Command + S. The album was released on September 28, 2018. Their fourth album came out on January 17, 2020, entitled Marigold.
