Paul Nelson is an American songwriter, record producer, and rock and blues guitarist. Paul Nelson has been featured in numerous publications, including Rolling Stone, Billboard, USA Today, Guitar World, Guitar Player, Premier Guitar, Classic Rock Guitar, and Vintage Guitar magazines. He is credited as a composer and performer on national television broadcasts such as NBC, TNN, and UPN, and for the WWF.
His debut self-titled solo album features his guitar talents. In addition to his work on Prey for Xbox 360, he sang on the album track "Anthem For Tonight" by Halifax. Nelson has also produced many records, such as the Live at the Factory Underground (2019) album by Martin Barre and all 14 entries in Johnny Winter's Live Bootleg series (which all peaked in the top 10 on the Billboard Blues Chart).
Joe Louis Walker's Everybody Wants a Piece, an album by James Montgomery featuring Jimmy Vivino (Conan O'Brien), Mark Naftalin (Paul Butterfield Blues Band), Grace Kelly (Stephen Colbert), and the Uptown Horns (Rolling Stone, James Brown), were all albums that he produced and performed on.
