Neck Deep Information
Neck Deep is a Welsh pop-punk band. The current lineup consists of Ben Barlow, Matt West, Sam Bowden, Seb Barlow, and Matt Powles. The band's September 2012 EP release, Rain in July, brought them even more fame. This is what Barlow had to say: "People took notice and demanded that we play shows." In December, the band toured the UK promoting With the Punches and Me Vs. Hero. The band made their live debut on the tour date of December 3.
After their first album, Wishful Thinking came out in January 2014, the band members quit their jobs and stopped attending school to focus on the band full-time. After its August 2017 release, the band's third studio album, The Peace and the Panic, peaked at No. 4 on the US Billboard 200.
Thorpe-Evans departed from the group in September 2018 to focus on his producing career. The band's 2019 summer tour included Blink-182 as a support act. The band officially welcomed bassist and longtime collaborator Seb Barlow in February 2020. In the same month, they unveiled an app featuring multiple forms of multimedia to mark the arrival of their fourth album, All Distortions Are Intentional, on July 24, 2020. January 19, 2024, was the release date of their self-titled fifth studio album.
