Mustard Plug Information
Mustard Plug is an American ska punk band. The current lineup of the group consists of Jim Hofer (trombone), Brandon Jenison (trumpet and backing vocals), Nathan Cohn (drums), Colin Clive (guitar and vocals), and Dave Kirchgessner (lead vocals). The band formed in 1991. They have regularly toured across South America, Japan, Europe, and the United States. Mustard Plug has toured twice with the Warped Tour and participated in the Ska Against Racism Tour.
On October 30, 1992, Mustard Plug released its debut studio album entitled, Skapocalypse Now!. The album was released on cassette originally and converted later on as a reissue CD in 1998. Until 2010, Mustard Plug was signed with Hopeless Records. In 2011, the group celebrated its 20th anniversary with a national tour.
Mustard Plug also performed at Pouzza Fest in Montreal in May 2017. They embarked on a Japan tour in 2019. They regularly perform around the United States. The band’s other studio albums include Big Daddy Multitude (December 1993), Evildoers Beware! (March 18, 1997), Pray for Mojo (March 16, 1999), Yellow No. 5 (September 17, 2002), Masterpiece: 1991-2002 (September 6, 2005), In Black and White (September 11, 2007), and Can’t Contain It (January 14, 2014).
