Lynch Mob Information
Lynch Mob is a hard rock band that is based in California. The current lineup of the group consists of George Lynch (guitar), Jimmy D’Anda (drums), Robbie Crane (bass), and Joe Retta (vocals). Lynch Mob was formed in 1989 with the remains of Lynch’s from a band called “Dokken.” In 1990, the band came out with its first album entitled “Wicked Sensation.” The album is regarded as some of the best work from Lynch Mob and reached gold status in the United States. In 1992, Lynch Mob released a self-titled album.
Lynch Mob disbanded for a bit though Lynch and Mick Brown reunited in 1998. Lynch reformed the original lineup for the band, and since then, it has gone through many lineup changes, breakups, and reunions. Eventually, in 2008, the band stabilized, and since then, they have been playing music regularly together.
Lynch Bob has worked with different record labels throughout its career, including Elektra, CMC, Sacred Groove, Deadline, Frontiers, and Rat Pak Records. The band released several studio albums so far such as Smoke This (October 19, 1999), Revolution (April 29, 2003), Smoke and Mirrors (October 13, 2009), Sun Red Sun (December 9, 2014), Rebel (August 7, 2015), and The Brotherhood (September 8, 2017). The group has also released a few live albums, including Evil: Live (2003) and Revolution: Live (2006).
