Jazz Ishmael Butler, also known as “Lil Tracy,” is a rapper and singer. He was also known as Yung Bruh at the beginning of his career. Butler was born in October and is a native of Virginia. He inspired and grew up listening to emo music and Southern hip-hop artists and started music production.
At the age of 15, Butler decided to pursue and focus more on his music career. He published several mixtapes with the Thraxx house. Butler met the rapper from New York, Lil Peep, who collaborated on “White Tee” from “Peep’s Crybaby” mixtape by the group reference. The song got attention through hip-hop underground. The “Awful Things” has been on the Billboard Hot 100, and also for being a well-known member of the “SoundCloud rap” and underground rap scene. He also released a single, “Overdose,” which got him to excel in his career.
Butler came up with a new name from Yung Bruh to “Lil Tracy” in 2016, and he released his most-awaited mixtape called “Tracy’s Manga” on February 1, 2017. Butler then released another song, “XOXO,” two months later in April. He released two EPs. “Designer Talk” on October 5 and then the long-awaited “Sinner” in November. On September 20, 2019, Butler released his debut album, “Anarchy.” In November 2020, his recent album “Designer Talk 2” was released.
