Ashnikko Information
Ashton Nicole Casey (February 19, 1996), known by her stage name Ashniko, is a popular American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Her 2019 collaboration with (Yung) Baby Tate on the song "Stupid" went viral on the TikTok video platform and was eventually certified platinum in the US and Canada. Demidevil, Ashnikko's first mixtape, came out in the first month of 2021 and featured the hit singles "Daisy" and "Slumber Party" with Princess Nokia.
Ashnikko dropped "Hi, It's Me," her third extended play, in July 2019. The single "Special" was released to promote the EP, and the EP's title track and first single "Hi, It's Me" were also released simultaneously. Featuring Yung Baby Tate, "Stupid" was the second official single, and it went viral on TikTok.
The song topped the Spotify Viral 50, the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100, and the Billboard Bubbling Under R&B/Hip-Hop charts. The US and Canada certified "Stupid" as gold in August 2020.
She released the solo "Tantrum" track in March of 2020. Ashnikko gave a live performance of "Tantrum" at The Fader's Digital Fader Fort later that month. In June 2020, a music video with animation for "Cry" featuring Canadian singer Grimes was released, and it was nominated for "Best Pop Video - UK" at the 2020 UK Music Video Awards.
Ashnikko played the second day of the California Coachella Arts and Music event on April 22, 2023. The event ran for two weeks.
