Lars Frederiksen Information
Lars Frederiksen (August 30, 1971) is an American record producer, singer, songwriter, and musician. He has fronted many punk rock bands, including Lars Frederiksen and the Bastards, the Old Firm Casuals, and Rancid, with which he is best known as a guitarist and vocalist. Along with Oxley's Midnight Runners and Stomper 98, he also plays guitar in The Last Resort. Aside from his time with the US Subs, he also spent 1991 with the UK Subs.
A second guitarist was needed; thus, he joined Rancid in 1993 and can be heard on their album Let's Go. Dropkick Murphys, Agnostic Front, The Business, Swingin' Utters, Marky Ramone and the Intruders, Anti-Heros, Pressure Point, and The Forgotten are just some of the bands whose albums he has produced. While working with Michael Rosen, he mixed the albums "Perfume and Piss" (2010) by GBH and "Here We Stand" (2007) by Cock Sparrer.
Frederiksen plays the part of Dante in multiple episodes of Tim Armstrong's Tim Timebomb's Rock n Roll Theater. Lars also appears in the documentary The Other F Word. Lars has been following professional wrestling for quite some time. You may see him in the WWE documentary CM Punk: Best in the World because he is pals with the professional wrestler.
