Kelly Finnigan is an American rootsy and soulful performer. He was born in Los Angeles in 1981. Finnigan grew up in a family with musical background. He is the son of Mike Finnigan, who was himself a keyboardist and singer. His father was known for his albums and work with Jimi Hendrix, Taj Mahal, Joe Cocker, and many others. He was introduced to the piano at a very young age. Finnigan had many formal options for his career, but he chose his creative path.
He is known for his role as the lead singer for the funky R&B band called Monophonics. He worked with the band for almost a decade. Finnigan then released his solo debut album entitled, The Tales People Tell. The album was released in 2019.
Finnigan has released a few albums so far in his career, including The Tales People Tell (2019), It’s Only Us (2020), and A Joyful Sound (2020). Notable singles of him include “I’ll Never Love Again,” “Every Time It Rains,” “I Called You Back Baby,” “Impressions of You,” and “Since I Don’t Have You Anymore.”
