John Corabi Information
John Corabi (April 26, 1959) is an American hard rock guitarist and singer born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Corabi was the frontman of The Scream in 1989 and spent a few years as frontman of Motley Crue between 1992 and 1996. Corabi is considered a “rock journeyman” by critics. He has a long list of collaborations with many established acts.
Corabi attended the Motley Cruise early in 2008, a 4-day cruise in the Caribbean. It included many other big-name performers such as Lynam, Endeverafter, Slaughter, Ratt, Skid Row, and Vince Neil. Corabi also joined Vince Neil on stage and performed one of the hits by AC/DC, “Highway to Hell.” The performance was remembered as a unique event since two Motley Crue vocalists shared the same microphone. Corabi later parted ways with Ratt to pursue his solo career in August 2008.
Corabi’s list of associated acts is long, including Motley Crue, The Dead Daisies, Cardboard Vampyres, Bassie en Adriaan, Golden Earning, Party Animale, Angel City Outlaws, Union, ESP, Angora, Brides of Destruction, The Scream, and Ratt.
However, Corabi has only signed a record deal with Elektra Records. He has released several notable albums in many collaborations, such as Six song demo tape (Angora), Let It Scream in 1991 (The Scream). He has released many studio albums with Motley Crue, including Motley Crue (1994), Quaternary EP (1994), Generation Swine (1997), and Red, White & Crue (2007).
