For as long as he can remember, Jackson has spent the better part of each day with a guitar in his hands and a song in his mind. His early exposure to artists like the Beatles, Credence Clearwater Revival, and contemporary singer-songwriter troubadours laid the groundwork for his later enjoyment of rock music and songwriting.
He spent his high school years playing baseball and making music and his college years performing at house parties, coffeehouses, and small venues all along Knoxville's University of Tennessee strip. After finishing college in 2014, Bruck returned to his hometown of Nashville, TN, where he began playing his songs around Music City. ?
He performed an original composition and an inspired cover of Tom Waits's "Jersey Girl" at his 2016 "American Supergroup" audition, which led to his selection. His debut EP, "Here We Come," was released in 2017 due to the relationships he formed while filming the show in Nashville with many other talented and like-minded artists. The Dukes of Hume were conceived in the early months of 2018. The group participated in Lightning 100's Music City Mayhem 2018 competition after performing at Mercy Lounge, The Basement, and The High Watt, three of Nashville's most acclaimed venues.
