Inhaler Information
Inhaler is an Irish pop-rock band that originated from Dublin, Ireland. The music style of the band is defined as rock and indie rock. The current lineup of the group consists of bassist Robert Keating, guitarist Josh Jenkinson, vocalist/guitarist Elijah Hewson (son of U2 frontman Bono), and drummer Ryan McMahon. The inhaler was founded in 2012 at St Andrews College in Blackrock. The current name of the band was decided in the year 2015.
Inhaler self-released their debut single entitled "I Want You" in 2017, which got featured in Garageland Volume 1 (April 14th, 2017). This debut release was followed by three more singles, namely "My Honest Face," "It Won’t Always Be Like This,” and "It Won’t Always Be Like This.” The group earned the fifth position on annual music poll, Sound of 2020 of BBC. Forth single by Inhaler was released on January 21st, 2020, entitled "We Have to Move On.”
Inhaler went on many tours in 2019-2020. The group released a self-titled debut EP featuring the singles 'Oklahoma' (Late Night Version), 'My Honest Face,' 'It Won't Always Be Like This,' 'There's No Other Place.' The group also released their singles as limited-edition vinyl records for Record Store Day 2020. Apart from earning the fifth position in BBC Sound of 2020 poll, Inhaler was also included in the 2020 NME’s The NME 100.
