Highly Suspect Information
From Cape Cod, Massachusetts, comes the American rock band Highly Suspect. Johnny Stevens plays guitar and leads the band, while Matt Kofos adds synthesizer and backing vocals to his arsenal. The Meyer brothers, Rich and Ryan, play bass and background vocals, drums and backing vocals, respectively. Moving to Brooklyn, New York, they began performing cover songs in bars before teaming up with producer Joel Hamilton to make an extended play (EP) titled The Worst Humans.
Highly Suspect received a Best Rock Album nomination for the 58th Annual Grammys for the band's 2015 debut studio album, Mister Asylum. A Best Rock Song nomination went to "Lydia" as well. 2016 they released The Boy Who Died Wolf, their second studio album.
Of the album's two singles, "My Name Is Human" reached number one on the Billboard US Mainstream Rock Songs list while "Little One" peaked at number two. The Midnight Demon Club, Highly Suspect's fourth studio album, was released in 2022, and MCID, their third studio album, was published in 2019.
