Framing Hanley Information
Framing Hanley is an American rock band that was founded in 2005 and originated from Nashville, Tennessee. The music of the group is post-hardcore and alternative rock. The current lineup of Framing Hanley includes Kenneth Nixon - lead vocals, piano, rhythm guitar; Nic Brooks – guitars; Jonathan Stoye - guitar, bass, backing vocals; and Shad Teems - drums, piano, backing vocals. Some of the former members include Ryan Belcher, Tim Huskinson, Brandon Wootten, and a few more. The group was formerly known as Embers Fade.
The first studio album by Framing Hanley was released in August 2007, entitled The Moment. It was followed by A Promise to Burn, released on May 25th, 2010, a sophomore record. A previous studio album is The Sum of Who We Are, which came out on April 29th, 2014. Some of the hit singles included in these albums are "Criminal," "Hear Me Now," "Back to Go Again," "Collide," "Puzzle Pieces," "Lollipop," "You Stupid Girl," and "Back to Go Again."
After announcing a hiatus, on April 11th, 2018, a reunion was announced by the lead singer, Kenneth Nixon. The latest album after the reunion came out on February 21st, 2020, entitled Envy. The band earned the Top In Rock Award, for the category of the Best Modern Rock Band, in December 2009.
