Forever Came Calling is an American pop-punk band. The group first got together 2006 to play cover songs by Senses Fail and Taking Back Sunday. John Swaba was brought on as bassist following several lineup changes. They went on to record and distribute HopE P.assion, an extended play. Their meteoric rise to stardom began with their appearance in the documentary No Room For Rockstars.
In 2011, they collaborated with Handguns on their debut EP, which featured Bryce on drums. The first full-length album, Contender, came out in 2012. Their second studio album, 2014's What Matters Most, came out in October. They released their debut extended play (EP) and a cassette of earlier tracks in the summer of 2015 in a joint effort with Ronald Records.
Exclusive to the Rather Be Dead Than Cool tour, "Songs From High School." was released along with other tour goods in August. Following Isaac Taylor's 2015 departure, third/tour guitarist Tom "the Mop" Lovejoy became a band member. Their new extended play (EP), "Retro Future," was unveiled in January 2018, along with a tour with In Her Own Words that began in Lafayette, LA, at the 2018 Wilhelm Records Music Festival and an Australian record deal with Penultimate Records.
