Floydian Slips Information
Floydian Slip is a weekly, one-hour Random Precision Media LLC (RPM) radio program. It is completely dedicated to the music and history of the British rock band Pink Floyd. The program is syndicated across the country. Approximately one hundred radio stations are part of the show's network of affiliates. Craig Bailey, a resident of Shelburne, Vermont, is the brains behind the program and also serves as the show's host.
Bailey broadcast his first episode in January 1989 on Ithaca College's carrier current station 106-VIC (now called VIC Radio) in Ithaca, New York, when he was a senior at the college majoring in Television-Radio. In 1994, he also produced it for Burlington's short-lived WEXP (105.1), and from 1994 until June 7, 2009, he did it at WCPV (101.3), where he worked for more than 13 years. Bailey first started pitching the show to radio stations in August 2009 as a weekly syndication offering, and he established RPM to do so.
