Flow Information
Flow is a Japanese rock band that was founded in 1998 as a five-piece band. The current lineup of the group includes Koshi Asakawa (vocals), Yasutaro Goto (bass), Hiroshi Iwasaki (drums), Takeshi Asakawa (guitar), and Keigo Hayashi (vocals). Thus far, the band has released 11 studio albums, 34 singles, and two collaboration singles with Granrodeo. Singles by Flow have been featured in the opening sequences of many Japanese drama series and anime. In January 2003, the band released its first cover single. The single remained on the Oricon indie chart for almost seven weeks and hit number 6 on the overall singles chart.
Flow released its full-length album entitled “Splash!!!” in the spring of 2003. The album debuted at number 2 on the Oricon album chart. The band released another single “Blaster” in July 2003. This was their first major-label release on Kioon (also known as Ki/oon) Records. The group has also worked with Sacra Music.
