Firehouse Information
Firehouse is a rock band that was formed in Richmond, Virginia. The current lineup of the band includes C. J. Snare (lead vocals and keyboards), Bill Leverty (lead and rhythm guitars), Michael Foster (drums, percussion, and backing vocals), and Allen McKenzie (bass and backing vocals). The group eventually moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where they signed with Epic Records in 1989. The band members reached stardom during the early 1990s with their hit singles “All She Wrote,” “Don’t Treat Me Bad,” and “Reach for the Sky,” “When I Look Into Your Eyes,” “Love of a Lifetime,” and “I Live My Life for You.” The band won the award for Favorite Hard Rock New Artists at the American Music Awards, being chosen over Alice in Chains and Nirvana.
Over time, Firehouse remained very popular in Southeast Asian countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, India, Thailand, and Japan. The band also built its popularity in Europe and South America. Throughout the late 1990s, the group continued releasing new material.
Firehouse worked with different record labels throughout its career, including Epic Records, Pony Canyon, Firehouse Music Records, and Justin Case Productions. They have released several notable studio albums such as FireHouse (1990), Hold Your Fire (1992), 3 (1995), Good Acoustics (1996), Category 5 (1998), O2 (2000), Prime Time (2003), and Full Circle (2011).
