Eraserheads Information
Eraserheads is a Filipino alternative rock band. The current lineup includes Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan. In 1989, at Quezon City's University of the Philippines Diliman, the Eraserheads first crossed paths. According to Offshore Music, the Eraserheads' Sabado/1995 EP was available on all digital streaming platforms on August 7, 2021. While on tour in the United Kingdom in 2014, they wrote the EP.
All four band members shared a photo of their logo—the inverted letter E—on September 17, 2022, across all their social media accounts. Two days after that, news spread that the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque, Metro Manila, would host a reunion performance called "Eraserheads Huling El Bimbo 2022" on December 22, 2022.
The band played 31 songs at their 2022 reunion show, featuring special guests like Gary Valenciano and a hologram depiction of the late rapper Francis Magalona. With an encore of Huling El Bimbo and a five-minute fireworks display, the three-hour show—which attracted 75,000 spectators—ended. Following the performance, the band set out on a world tour in 2023. The concert's distribution on streaming platforms was on March 15, 2024.
