Enter Shikari Information
Enter Shikari is a British rock band. The current lineup of the group consists of Rory Clewlow (lead guitar, vocals, synthesizer, keyboards, and percussion), Rob Rolfe (backing vocals, percussion, and drums), Chris Batten (bass, percussion, synthesizer, keyboards, and vocals), and Rou Reynolds (percussion, trumpet, rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboards, synthesizer, programming, and lead vocals). Chris Batten formed the band in 1999 in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Enter Shikari performed in 2006 to a growing fanbase at Download Festival. They also played a sold-out show at the London Astoria.
On March 19, 2007, Enter Shikari released its debut studio album, Take to the Skies. The album sold over 200,000 copies worldwide. The album also reached number 4 in the Official UK Album Chart and got gold certification in the United Kingdom. Their second album, Common Dreads, was released on June 15, 2009, and on June 16 in the United States. The album reached 16 on the UK Album Chart.
On January 9, 2012, Enter Shikari came up with its third studio album entitled, A Flash Flood of Colour, debuting at number four. The band embarked on A Flesh Flood of Colour World Tour to support their album. Other studio albums released by Enter Shikari so far include The Mindsweep (January 19, 2015), The Spark (September 22, 2017), and Nothing Is True & Everything Is Possible (April 17, 2020).
