Electric Six Information
Electric Six is a six-piece rock band formed in Royal Oak, Michigan, in 1996. The current lineup of the group consists of Dick Valentine (lead vocals), Johnny Na$hinal (lead guitar and backing vocals), Tait Nucleaus (Keyboards and backing vocals), Da Ve (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), Rob Lowe (bass), and Todd Glass (drums). The band’s music is described as a combination of garage and metal by AllMusic.
Electric Six received massive recognition in 2003 when it released two singles entitled “Gay Bar” and “Danger! High Voltage.” Since then, the band has released several notable albums, live DVDs, and a few rarities albums. The group was previously known as “The Wildbunch” initially but dropped this because of pressure from another group of the same name. The band released its debut album entitled “Fire” in 2003 under the record label XL Recordings.
Electric Six has worked with a few record labels throughout its careers, such as Metropolis Records, V2 Records, Warner Bros Records, and Rushmore Records. The band’s associated acts include Evil Cowards, Belle Ghoul, Flogging Molly, Johnny Headband, The Dirty Shame.
Electric Six has released several hit albums throughout their career, including Senor Smoke (2005), Switzerland (2006), I Shall Exterminate Everything Around Me That Restricts Me from Being the Master (2007), Flashy (2008), KILL (2009), Zodiac (2010), Heartbeats and Brainwaves (2011), Mustang (2013), Human Zoo (2014), Bitch, Don’t Let Me Die!
